‘Shoulder Rolls’ are not just a super sexy move; if you’re doing it right, they also feel like a mini-massage. For some people, this move is completely instinctual, and for others it can be difficult. If you are having trouble with this move, try practicing in front of a mirror. Begin with just one shoulder (the right if you are right-handed, the left if you are left-handed) and simply raise one shoulder up and down, isolating the movement so that only that shoulder is moving. Next, practice moving that shoulder forward and back, checking to make sure that you are not moving your head or the other shoulder. Now connect those four points to roll the shoulder forward, up, back and down. Practice on your “good side” several times before moving to the other shoulder. Once you are comfortable with both, alternate sides.
