Fit and fabulous, yummy-mummy Karen leads you through a gentle warm-up focused on stretching and strengthening the back and thighs, two areas key to belly dancing with fluidity and power. The combination of the ‘Ripple’ with the ‘Chest Camel,’ with level changes to create the ‘Full Camel’, make this an episode for intermediate dancers. This move will undoubtedly take time to master, but once you’ve got it down pat, it’s beyond sexy! Rotating the hip and coming onto demi-point adds a graceful, sensual flare to the fundamental travelling step ‘Grapevine’ and the balletic ‘Ronde de Jambe.’ The performance section features solos from our most curvaceous dancers, Gillian and Manon.
